Four anticovid habits that we should practice

Tiny droplets suspended in the air, imperceptible to the human eye, have proven to us just how fragile human beings are. Nothing prepared us for what we’re living, we never thought we’d bear witness to an unprecedented event, or that a microscopic virus would change our lives. But here’s the good news: it’s in our hands to overcome it.

More than a year has passed now since it all began, and it’s become clear that our conscious and responsible actions are what define our future. That’s why we want to invite you to keep your guard up and live every day under the basic premise that care comes first.

‘Patience’ is probably a key word in the process of relating with each other amidst this new normality. Biosafety protocols will no doubt be a part of our lives for the long run as well as what we at Comfama call the four indispensable anticovid habits.

Wear a mask

Cover your mouth and nose with it, making sure there are no gaps, and avoid touching it while you wear it. You should wash it or change it frequently, depending on the kind of mask that you use.

Keep a safe distance

Physical distancing, also known as social distancing helps to avoid the spreading of the virus. Whenever you go out, try to keep a safe distance of 2 meters (about 7 feet) between yourself and the people around you.

Wash your hands

Wash them thoroughly with soap and water at least for 40 seconds every 3 hours. Do it also after being to a public place, touching surfaces or manipulating objects.

Report your symptoms

In case you feel any of the covid-19 related symptoms you should immediately get in touch with your healthcare provider as well as your employer, and stay at home.

Remember: the virus isn’t gone, taking care of yourself and your loved ones is in your hands.
