Be part of Soy Revolutio, a leadership education initiative to revolutionize Antioquia.

If you are someone who believes that more leaders are needed to educate for freedom, diversity, the challenges of the world, the construction of a more critical vision, productivity, and, above all, who want to leave a mark on people and society, then you have to be a part of Soy Revolutio. It is a scholarship to become a pro in educational leadership with High Tech High Graduate School of Education and Comfama.

What will you learn?

The course is about Leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. It seeks 20 leaders from all over Antioquia to start their leadership training with Comfama and High Tech High Graduate School of Education, a network of schools located in Sandiego, California. The training is focused on developing reflective professional leaders who work effectively with colleagues, organizations, and communities to create and maintain innovative, productive, and authentic learning environments for educational workplaces.

Through this study, participants will acquire the capacity to plan and execute transformative projects that enable the practice of deeper learning experiences in their educational communities. Likewise, with the knowledge obtained, students will be able to strengthen the productivity of the educational sector of the region to which they belong. In addition, with Mark Kabban, director of High Tech High, who has been globally recognized for leading various projects with migrants, young people, and other audiences, they will experience pedagogical skills focused on equity.

Course structure

The Soy Revolutio scholarship begins with the Leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion course. This first study has a development time of four months and requires a one-week in-person immersion in San Diego, California (USA). The trip will be this coming August so that you can get to know the methodology up close and start being part of the community of educational leaders of global change. Subsequently, the selected candidates must complete their full training for 20 months, with the remaining three courses for 2024 and 2025. The scholarship renewal process will be carried out in the same way as for this first course, with obtaining the previous certificate as a prerequisite.
